At Zion Health Systems, we provide a comprehensive mental health evaluation by our psychiatric nurse practitioner to determine whether or not you are presenting a mental illness. Should the nurse practitioner identify signs and symptoms, they will establish a diagnosis and determine the appropriate treatment to address your unique needs.
Our nurse practitioner will gather information, such as:
- Present symptoms and concerns about your health, illness, and treatment
- Medications you’ve taken
- Detailed accounts of your family’s health history and your previous psychiatric history
- Your interviews
- Physical examinations (if necessary)
